PreMac Foods Founder Prema Participated in Google's Internet Saathi Program

Demonstrating a strong commitment to entrepreneurship and community impact, the founder of PreMac Foods contributed as a Mentor for the Internet Saathi Accelerator Program, organized by the Foundation for Rural Entrepreneurship Development (FREND) and the AWE Foundation Inc.. Held on November 18–19, 2019, in Gurgaon, Haryana, the program focused on empowering aspiring rural entrepreneurs.

For Prema, this experience was both enriching and transformative. It not only strengthened her journey as a food entrepreneur but also aligned perfectly with her mission to promote health and sustainability through innovative millet-based products. By embracing digital inclusion, she was able to explore new avenues for business growth while serving as a role model for other women-led enterprises in India.

The Internet Saathi program highlights the power of technology in empowering women, demonstrating how digital literacy can transform local businesses and inspire a new generation of socially conscious entrepreneurs.

Empowering others through mentorship deepened my purpose—to make nutritious, millet-based foods accessible while inspiring more women to lead and innovate.
